Product Details
EPS sandwich panel, also known as polystyrene sandwich panel, is a board composed of two layers of inner and outer metal sheets and a polystyrene foam sandwich layer in the middle. The inner and outer layers are mostly glass fiber reinforced plastic boards, but some are made of other materials such as color steel plates, while the sandwich layer is specially treated polystyrene foam.
The production process of EPS sandwich panel mainly includes the steps of pre-foaming, aging and board forming of EPS particles. EPS particles are expanded by high-temperature steam heating, and then aging treatment is performed to enhance their elasticity. Finally, the particles are squeezed and fused together to form a board in the molding machine through processes such as steam heating and vacuum cooling.
