EPS wall panel successfully shipped for Thai chicken coop project

In February 2025, Canglong Group completed the shipment of all 50mm EPS wall panel ecological chicken sheds customized for large-scale breeding farms in Thailand. This project uses high-density polystyrene (EPS) sandwich panels as the core enclosure material, combined with an intelligent breeding system, to provide comprehensive protection for the healthy growth of poultry in tropical climates.

Analysis of the core advantages of EPS sandwich panel

Efficient insulation: The thermal conductivity of 50mm EPS core material is ≤ 0.033W/(m · K), combined with double-sided 0.4mm color steel plate, which can control the temperature difference between day and night inside the chicken coop within ± 3 ℃, significantly reducing the risk of high temperature stress in summer.
Moisture proof and antibacterial design: The surface of the eps wall panel is coated with PE protective film and baked paint process, with a corrosion resistance of 1000 hours of salt spray testing standard, suitable for the environmental requirements of Thailand with an average annual humidity of over 80%.
Lightweight seismic structure: With a unit area weight of only 12kg/㎡, combined with a light steel keel frame, the seismic fortification intensity reaches 9 degrees, which can withstand typhoon attacks.
Quick assembly construction: Modular boards are installed through enterprise connections, reducing the construction period of a single chicken shed (1500 square meters) to 7 days and increasing efficiency by 60% compared to traditional brick and concrete structures.

Technical parameters and innovation

Fire rating: B1 level (flame retardant), meeting the fire prevention regulations for agricultural facilities in Thailand.
Sound insulation performance: RW≥35dB， Effectively reduce the interference of mechanical ventilation noise on poultry.
Antibacterial coating: adding nano silver ions on the surface, the killing rate of Escherichia coli is greater than 99.9%, reducing the risk of disease transmission.
